  1. THE NORTHERN NEW JERSEY OS/2 USERS GROUP

  3. Will have its first meeting, Tuesday March 9th, 
  4. 7pm in the evening at:

  10. The Northern New Jersey OS/2 Users Group will be a 
  11. non-profit organization dedicated to supporting 
  12. the users of IBM Operating System/2 residing in 
  13. New Jersey and the surrounding metropolitan area.  
  14. It will serve as a forum for users to address 
  15. their indi vidual needs and concerns regarding 
  16. system maintenance, application usage and software 
  17. development under OS/2.  In addition, the users 
  18. group will shedule presentations by OS/2 software 
  19. developers so that members will be able to 
  20. evaluate the latest OS/2 applications as they 
  21. become avaliable.

  23. The Northern New Jersey OS/2 Users Group will be 
  24. affiliated with the Westchester OS/2 Group in New 
  25. York, one of the most prominent OS/2 users group 
  26. in the United States.  In the past, the 
  27. Westchester OS/2 Users group has been instrumental 
  28. in its support of OS/2 users in the New York 
  29. metropolitan area and throughout the US.  Most 
  30. recently it has worked wih the PBS televison show 
  31. Computer Chronicles in expediting a special OS/2 
  32. episode to air the week of March 9th, 1993, and 
  33. has a designed a series of weekend seminars on 
  34. OS/2 software development to begin in mid-March at 
  35. IBM in Harrison, NY.  The Westchester OS/2 Users 
  36. group's members include corporate MIS managers,
  37. software developers, acedemicians, students and
  38. personal computer enthusiasts.
